Game recap

Cincinnati keeps the ball, eventually

The Bengals recovered fumbles on three straight Tampa Bay possessions before halftime and collected a fourth takeaway later in a 33–27 win. Demetrius Knight Jr. took the first recovery 27 yards for a touchdown. Cincinnati's defense gave Joe Burrow a pretty generous welcome back to regular-season football.

Mike Gesicki contributed 78 receiving yards and a touchdown, but the closing possession mattered just as much. The Bengals kept the ball for the final 3:19. After spending the afternoon handing it over, Tampa Bay finally wanted it back.
