Ashton Jeanty produced 147 yards from scrimmage and two receiving touchdowns as Las Vegas beat Miami 27–13. Kirk Cousins completed all nine passes on his first drive as a Raider, finishing it with a touchdown to Jack Bech. A 93-yard opening drive is a fairly persuasive introduction.
Miami got closer after a Cousins interception, but the Raiders answered with another Jeanty touchdown catch. Their defense finished with five sacks and held the Dolphins to two conversions on ten third downs. Las Vegas found plenty of ways to keep Miami uncomfortable in Klint Kubiak's first win.
