Game recap

A blocked punt ends the Chargers' opening

The Chargers trailed by only two early in the fourth quarter. Then came a sack, a pass through Quentin Johnston's hands and a blocked punt that left Arizona at the three. Two plays later, Jacoby Brissett found David Njoku for a touchdown. Los Angeles packed a lot of damage into one possession.

Arizona finished with a 26–14 win and 393 total yards. Jeremiyah Love scored on the opening drive, and Chad Ryland made four field goals. Ladd McConkey's 82 yards and a touchdown gave the Chargers something to build on before he left with a chest injury.
